In October 2006, Managing Director of Fingershield Safety UK, Mr. Paul O’Carroll, attended the Regional Finals of the Shell STEP Awards in Manchester as a Guest Speaker.

Having seen his own work placement student triumph in the local round of the 2005 STEP Awards, following a very successful placement at Fingershield Safety UK, Managing Director Paul O’Carroll was proud to deliver a speech at this year’s event.

The Shell Technology Enterprise Programme gives undergraduate students the opportunity to work within small to medium sized businesses on challenging work placement projects. With its commitment to inspiring and encouraging young people to develop entrepreneurial skills, STEP is an initiative that Fingershield Safety UK will continue to support.
