Fingershield Placement Student Triumphs At STEP Awards

In September, following a successful work placement at Fingershield Safety (UK), David Towers, an International Business Management student at the University of Birmingham, won first place in the local round of the 2005 STEP Awards.
The Shell Technology Enterprise Programme offers undergraduate students the opportunity to work within small to medium sized businesses on challenging work placement projects and then to present their experiences to a panel of judges.
Impressed to such an extent with David’s presentation, the judges awarded him first place, earning him the title, ‘Most Enterprising Student of the Year’.
