Over the last few months, Fingershield Safety UK has been actively raising money for the company charity, the Christie Hospital NHS Trust.

Among the fundraising activities Fingershield has been involved in, the company raised in excess of £100 by raffling a food hamper at its Annual Christmas Dinner and the collection boxes at Head Office have all been filled to the brim with donations. 

Also, at the end of January, Fingershield’s Finance Department kick started a series of ‘themed fundraising days’ to be held at Fingershield Head Office every other month. The second fundraising day will be organised by the Marketing Department, who will be announcing its special theme very soon.

Interestingly, towards the end of February, we were thrilled to welcome Christie’s Ambassadors Barbara and Trevor Mannion from the Altrincham and Sale Fundraising Group to Fingershield’s Head Office. During Barbara and Trevor’s visit, all of the Fingershield team gathered round to present them with the money raised.

With many more fundraising activities planned for 2006, including the Morecambe Bay Sponsored Walk with the Altrincham and Sale Fundraising Group in September, there will be much more money raised over the coming months.
